Key Duties

Support Dy. Manager (Electrical) and Dy. Manager (Instrumentation) in all Electrical & Instrumentation tasks within designated areas.

Assist Dy. Manager (Electrical) and Dy. Manager (Instrumentation) in diagnosing and analyzing breakdown incidents in assigned areas.

Aid Dy. Manager (Electrical) and Dy. Manager (Instrumentation) in implementing maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.

Manage shift activities including breakdown maintenance, take corrective action to reduce breakdowns, and record all activities in the Daily log book.

Troubleshoot and address electrical emergencies as they arise.

Maintain history registers for designated areas.

Ensure proper housekeeping.

Enforce Health and Safety guidelines.

Support Mechanical and Utility Manager in screening and interviewing potential candidates for the Electrical department.

Ensure team compliance with all Safety Policies and Procedures.

Uphold Health and Safety guidelines.

Oversee training for all department personnel.

Responsible for job card and checklist entries in ERP.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum requirement: ITI Electrical / Degree / HND in Electrical Engineering
Added advantage: Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum requirement: 8 years experience in process industry
Added Advantage: More than five years and preferably in plastic industry
Professional (Memberships & Certifications): Added Advantage: COREN.
