Job Description
We are currently seeking highly skilled Mechanical Technicians/Mechanics with proven expertise in Vögele asphalt pavers and related paving equipment to join our maintenance and operations team.
ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Vögele asphalt pavers and associated road construction machinery;
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems;
Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports;
Ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime;
Conduct field repairs on construction sites when required;
Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
QualificationsTechnical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field;
Experience with other asphalt paving and road construction machinery brands;
Familiarity with diagnostic tools and electronic control systems.
Requirements:Proven hands-on experience with Vögele pavers (Wirtgen Group equipment preferred);
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electronic control systems;
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and service manuals;
Experience in heavy construction or road building equipment maintenance;
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently;
Willingness to work in field conditions and flexible hours when necessary;
Residence in Nigeria.
