Job Title: Store Officer

Job Summary
The Store Officer will be responsible for the effective management of the store, including receiving, storing, issuing, and monitoring company stock.
The successful candidate must be physically fit, organized, trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesReceive and inspect goods delivered to the store and ensure they correspond with approved documentation.
Properly arrange and store products according to company procedures.
Issue stock to authorized departments or branches based on approved requests.
Maintain accurate records of all stock received, issued, transferred, and returned.
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records.
Monitor stock levels and promptly report low-stock items.
Ensure proper stock rotation to minimize expired, damaged, or obsolete items.
Keep the store clean, organized, and properly secured at all times.
Ensure all products are properly labelled and stored in their designated locations.
Assist with loading, offloading, movement, and arrangement of stock when required.
Report discrepancies, damaged goods, missing items, or suspected stock losses to management.
Ensure proper documentation of all stock movements.
Support periodic stock-taking and internal/external audits.
Maintain confidentiality of company and inventory information.
Adhere strictly to company policies, safety procedures, and inventory control processes.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
RequirementsMinimum of SSCE; OND / NCE or relevant qualification is an added advantage.
Previous experience in storekeeping, inventory management, warehousing, or a similar role is preferred.
Must be male.
Must be physically fit and capable of handling and moving stock.
Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
Basic computer knowledge.
Strong attention to detail.
