Job Sumary
We’re looking for a Switch Applications & Operations Engineer to join our Technology team and take ownership of the applications and infrastructure that power seamless payment transactions across our merchants and partner banks.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage and optimise the Core Switch and its interfaces, ensuring high availability, reliability, performance, and seamless transaction processing across HQ and DR environments.
Implement and support switching services including account-to-account transfers, card issuing, card acquiring, and other payment solutions across partner banks and merchants.
Drive upgrades, enhancements, and new implementations across switch infrastructure, applications, architectures, and related services.
Provide L2/L3 technical support and incident management, troubleshooting complex issues and serving as an escalation point for critical switching incidents.
Ensure all switching services meet security, regulatory, architectural, and technical standards, while staying ahead of emerging payment technologies and opportunities for innovation.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in switch operations, payment technology, application support, or a similar environment.
Experience providing L2/L3 application or technical support is preferred.
Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and analytical skills.
