Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to transport company goods safely and efficiently to designated locations.
The role is responsible for the safe operation and basic upkeep of the assigned truck, ensuring cargo is properly handled and delivered on schedule, while complying with all traffic laws, safety standards, and company procedures.
The ideal candidate must have a valid Class G driving licence, a strong safety record, good knowledge of routes, and the discipline to maintain accurate communication and documentation throughout each trip.
ResponsibilitiesVehicle & Safety Operations: Maintain safe driving standards, strictly adhere to traffic laws, and ensure proper vehicle upkeep.
Cargo Handling & Delivery: Load, secure, and transport cargo safely to guarantee precise and undamaged delivery.
Trip & Route Execution:
Adhere strictly to assigned routes and delivery schedules.
Report accidents, breakdowns, traffic delays, or route disruptions immediately.
Maintain regular communication with the Fleet/Operations team throughout every trip.
RequirementsMinimum of SSCE / WAEC / NECO or equivalent.
Must be able to drive a 15-ton truck
Must possess a valid Class G Driver’s License
Must be willing and available for interstate travel
Good knowledge of Nigerian roads and interstate routes
Previous truck driving experience will be an added advantage
Must be responsible, reliable, and safety-conscious.
