Video Editing Trainee

Job Summary


The Video Editing Intern will assist in editing high-quality video content for digital platforms, including social media, websites, YouTube, and client projects.
The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, digital-first environment.


Key Responsibilities


Edit raw video footage into compelling video content aligned with brand guidelines.
Add music, sound effects, transitions, captions, motion graphics, and basic animations.
Collaborate with content creators, digital marketers, and designers to produce video content.
Assist in filming and video production (where applicable).
Organize and maintain video files and archives.
Optimize videos for different platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
Stay updated on video editing trends, techniques, and tools.


Requirements & Skills


Basic proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut).
A portfolio of previous editing work (school projects, personal, freelance, etc.).
Understanding of aspect ratios, color correction, audio mixing, and storytelling.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and follow creative direction.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and grow with the team.


Bonus Skills (Not Required but a Plus):


Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Photoshop).
Experience in short-form content creation (TikTok, Instagram Reels).
Basic camera and audio equipment handling.
Animation or motion graphics skills.
