Position Summary


Moment for Women Alliance is recruiting a talented and imaginative Video Editor to collaborate directly with our producer on The Moment for Women Talkshow and develop compelling digital content for our advocacy initiatives, programs, and campaigns.
We are seeking an individual who is enthusiastic about visual storytelling and has expertise in both camera operation and video post-production.


Key Duties


Collaborate with the producer to capture studio and field content for The Moment for Women Talkshow.
Record high-quality video footage for events, interviews, and advocacy campaigns.
Edit video content, incorporating transitions, subtitles, audio effects, and basic motion graphics.
Create short-form videos for distribution on social media platforms, YouTube, and broadcast channels.
Maintain consistent branding and narrative across all video productions.
Oversee video equipment maintenance and manage footage storage systems.


Qualifications


Demonstrated experience in cinematography and video editing (portfolio or demo reel must be provided).
Mastery of editing software (such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent).
Excellent camera handling, lighting setup, and audio recording abilities.
Fundamental understanding of motion graphics (experience with After Effects or Canva Pro is beneficial).
Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively with the media and programs team.
Creative mindset, ability to meet deadlines, and attention to detail.


Desired Competencies:


Familiarity with video editing and live-streaming equipment.
Proficiency in photography, animation, and graphic design.
Knowledge of feminist or human rights storytelling techniques.
Expertise in cinematography and lighting configuration
Skill in color grading and audio enhancement.
