Position Overview

• We are seeking a creative and talented Volunteer Video Editor to join our team to craft short-form video content for our social media platforms.
• The ideal candidate will have a passion for film, storytelling, and a strong eye for creating compelling visual narratives.
• You will play a crucial role in helping Agba Cinema engage with our audience and expand our reach by creating fun and engaging reels for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and Produce Reels: Create dynamic and visually engaging reels from Agba Cinema's content, including trailers, highlights from events, film discussions, behind-the-scenes footage, and other promotional materials.
• Collaborate with the Social Media Team: Work closely with the social media and marketing team to ensure content aligns with our branding, voice, and ongoing campaigns.
• Stay on Trend: Utilize popular editing styles, trends, and audio on social platforms to maximize engagement and visibility.
• Ensure High-Quality Output: Maintain a high standard of video editing, ensuring that the final product is polished, cohesive, and optimized for various platforms.
• Provide Creative Input: Suggest new video ideas and ways to use reels to engage our community, increase followers, and promote upcoming events.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in video editing, particularly for social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, etc.).
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• A strong understanding of current social media trends, video formats, and algorithms.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively in a remote setting.
• Passion for cinema and storytelling is a plus.
• A portfolio or reel of previous work is highly encouraged.
