About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Warehouse / Assistant System Control Officer to support daily warehouse operations while ensuring accurate inventory tracking through our stock management system.
This role bridges physical warehouse activity with system-based inventory control, making sure stock records always match what's actually in the store.
Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and record incoming stock against purchase orders/delivery notes
Update and maintain accurate inventory records on the stock/inventory management system
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records
Flag and investigate discrepancies between physical inventory and system data
Organize and arrange warehouse items for easy identification, access, and retrieval
Process stock issuance, transfers, and returns, ensuring proper documentation
Support order picking, packing, and dispatch processes
Monitor stock levels and alert management on low stock or reorder points
Ensure warehouse cleanliness, safety, and adherence to storage procedures
Prepare periodic stock and inventory reports for management
Assist in warehouse audits and support the Warehouse Manager with administrative tasks
RequirementsOND / HND / Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory, or stock control (experience with an inventory / ERP system is an advantage).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with inventory management software is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and record-keeping accuracy.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to lift /move stock items and work on your feet for extended periods.
Honest, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
