Med-Vical International is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Accountant/Internal Control Officer to support financial reporting while strengthening the organization’s internal control environment.
The successful candidate will help ensure financial accuracy, safeguard organizational assets, and promote compliance with policies and procedures.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate financial records and prepare periodic financial reports.
Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
Process invoices, payments, and journal entries.
Monitor revenue collection and expenditure.
Conduct routine internal control reviews and compliance audits.
Identify control weaknesses and recommend corrective actions.
Verify inventory, fixed assets, and cash management processes.
Ensure adherence to financial policies and regulatory requirements.
Assist during internal and external audits.
Investigate financial discrepancies and prepare management reports.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
ICAN, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification (completed or in progress) is an advantage.
3–5 years’ relevant accounting and/or internal control experience.
Healthcare experience is an added advantage.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal control frameworks.
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Accountability and integrity are a must.
