 Job Title: Accountant

We are seeking a result drivenand analytical Accountant atIntermediate level to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily general ledger operations, assisting with month-end close procedures, and supporting financial reporting. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in accounting principles.


Responsibilities

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations. Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries, accruals, and prepayments. Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate any discrepancies or variances. Assist in the preparation of periodic financial statements, management reports, and budget variance analyses. Generate ad-hoc financial reports as requested by senior management. Support internal and external audits by pulling requested documents, schedules, and sample transactions. Ensure adherence to local tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal financial controls. Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and improve internal controls using spreadsheet tools and accounting software.

Requiements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, or Xero). Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet applications (Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets), including vlookups, pivot tables, and financial formulas. Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. High standard of integrity and confidentiality regarding financial information.
