Location: Sapele / Warri, Delta

Employment Type: Full-time Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements, reports, and budgets. Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including journal entries, ledgers, and accounts receivable/payable. Reconcile financial transactions, accounts, and discrepancies to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, adjustments, and accruals. Prepare and process invoices, payments, expense reports, and other financial transactions. Assist with payroll processing, including data entry, calculations, and reconciliations. Monitor and track financial transactions, expenses, and budgets to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies. Provide support and assistance to auditors, tax professionals, and regulatory agencies during audits and examinations. Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting. Prepare annual budget and monitor budget performance Conduct monthly bank reconciliation

Candidates should possess a HND or BSc in Accounting with 5 years working experience. A previous experience in the same role in the Marine Industry will be an advantage. Also having an experience with an Audit firm will be a further advantage. The ideal candidate must reside  in Delta State.
