Job Summary
We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our travel and immigration consulting business.
The ideal candidate will maintain accurate financial records, ensure statutory compliance, and provide reliable financial reporting to support business decision-making.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate financial records including ledgers, journals, and trial balances.
Process and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and daily bank transactions.
Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts and financial statements.
Track client payments, outstanding invoices, and follow up on overdue balances.
Ensure timely remittance of statutory obligations — PAYE, VAT, WHT, Pension, and NSITF.
Manage petty cash and ensure all expenditures are properly documented and authorised.
Support budgeting and cash flow monitoring, flagging variances to management promptly.
Liaise with auditors and provide all required documentation during audit exercises.
Maintain proper filing of all financial documents and transaction records.
RequirementsB.Sc. / HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
2 – 3 years of hands-on accounting experience
Part or full qualification with ICAN or ACCA is required or in view.
Understanding of Nigerian tax regulations and statutory compliance requirements.
Knowledge of accounting software — QuickBooks, Sage, or equivalent.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
SalaryN150,000 gross / month.
