We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Architect
Location: Lagos
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Develop architectural concepts, detailed drawings, specifications and schedules in line with project requirements and statutory regulations.
Coordinate design inputs with structural, MEP, procurement and site teams to ensure consistency, accuracy and constructability.
Conduct design reviews at key milestones, addressing clashes, quality issues and required revisions promptly.
Ensure all architectural deliverables meet internal standards, client expectations and regulatory approvals.
Incorporate sustainability and ethical construction practices into design solutions.
Prepare and update drawing registers, documentation, RFIs and related technical submissions.
Participate in site inspections to verify design intent, resolve field issues and support construction progress.
Manage revisions, change requests and design adjustments to minimise delays and rework.
Provide guidance and oversight to the Assistant Architect, reviewing outputs and assigning tasks as required.
Essential Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture; Master’s degree is an advantage.
COREN, ARCON or equivalent registration preferred.
8–11 years architectural experience in construction or consultancy environments.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, BIM tools and MS Office.
Strong understanding of building codes, planning regulations and construction methodologies.
Experience working within ISO-compliant systems is desirable.
