We have vast experience with plant/equipment installation of numerous sizes and complexity and we pride ourselves in the vast capacity built over the years in providing design, procurement and installation support to numerous FMCG firms such as Coca-Cola, Nigeria Breweries, Guinness, Friesland, PZ Wilmar, Murzah Wilmar (Tanzania), Kasapreko (Ghana), etc. and supports for OEMS such Sidel, KHS, Krones, Pentair, etc.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Installation Engineer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Purpose

• To supervise, execute, and ensure quality installation and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, piping, and instrumentation systems on projects. The role requires adherence to safety, quality, and project schedules while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise installation and commissioning activities on site in line with project requirements.
• Interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, GA drawings, and technical specifications for execution.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and project standards.
• Conduct pre-installation checks, site surveys, and readiness reviews.
• Oversee installation of piping, structural, mechanical equipment, and electrical/instrumentation systems.
• Ensure all installation works meet Nigerian and international codes/standards (ASME, API, IEC, ISO).
• Support project team in resolving site technical queries and liaising with design office for clarifications.
• Prepare installation reports, test packs, and as-built documentation.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with client specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with QA/QC to ensure inspections and approvals are carried out.
• Maintain effective communication with client representatives and internal project management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering ~(or related discipline).
• 3 years relevant experience in projects.
• Strong knowledge of installation, construction supervision, and commissioning practices.
• Demonstrated experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proven track record in site supervision and subcontractor management.
• Strong HSE awareness and certifications preferred.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Salary
N200,000 Monthly
