Job Summary


Our Client in the Educational sector is seeking dedicated and passionate Secondary School Teachers to join theiracademic team.
The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where students can develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
The teacher will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, delivering high-quality instruction, and assessing student progress to ensure all students reach their full potential.


Key Responsibilities


Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans for Subject in focus
Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
Prepare students for internal and external examinations, including [specific exams like WAEC, NECO, JAMB, etc.].
Maintain a positive, safe, and disciplined learning environment.
Establish clear rules and expectations for student behavior and academic performance.
Design and administer assessments, including quizzes, tests, and projects, to measure student understanding.
Provide timely and constructive feedback on student work.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student grades and attendance.
Monitor student progress and identify students who may require additional support or intervention.
Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school administration about academic progress and student welfare.
Serve as a mentor and guide, encouraging students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement curriculum improvements.
Participate in professional development workshops, staff meetings, and parent-teacher conferences.
Adhere to all school policies and procedures.


Qualifications


NCE/B.ed Degree
Proven experience as a teacher in a secondary school environment.
Strong knowledge of the subject matter and curriculum standards
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
