Job Summary
We are seeking friendly, reliable, and hardworking Canteen Stewards to join our team.
The successful candidates will support the smooth running of the canteen by assisting with food service, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all customers.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the preparation, serving, and distribution of food and beverages.
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen surfaces, and service counters.
Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, and catering equipment.
Ensure tables are cleared and reset promptly for incoming customers.
Follow food hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times.
Support stock control by reporting low supplies or shortages.
Provide courteous and helpful service to all canteen users.
RequirementsCandidates should possess an SSCE, GCE, or NECO, with 2-3 years of work experience.
Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or a canteen environment is essential.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
Reliable, punctual, and well-organised.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
