Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, diligent, and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and hygienic environment across all assigned areas.
The ideal candidate should be committed to high cleanliness standards, demonstrate professionalism, and ensure that the workplace remains safe and welcoming for staff and visitors.
Key ResponsibilitiesSweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces in all assigned areas.
Clean and disinfect offices, restrooms, kitchens, reception areas, and other common spaces.
Empty waste bins, dispose of refuse appropriately, and maintain proper waste segregation where applicable.
Replenish consumables such as tissue paper, hand soap, sanitizers, and other cleaning supplies.
Clean windows, glass surfaces, doors, furniture, and office equipment as required.
Ensure floors, walkways, and work areas are free from spills, dirt, and other safety hazards.
Operate cleaning tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules to maintain a consistently clean environment.
Report maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns promptly to the supervisor.
Handle cleaning materials and chemicals in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
Support general housekeeping duties and perform any other tasks assigned by management.
RequirementsMinimum of SSCE / WAEC or an equivalent qualification.
Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role is an added advantage.
Good physical health and ability to perform manual cleaning tasks.
Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards.
Basic understanding of workplace hygiene and sanitation practices.
Ability to use cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively.
Must be honest, trustworthy, punctual, and dependable.
Required Skills & Competencies:Excellent attention to detail.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to cleaning schedules.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
