We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Commerce teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will teach Commerce to students at the secondary school level, develop and implement engaging lesson plans, and assess student progress. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Commerce, excellent teaching skills, and must have the ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans that cover a diverse range of Commerce topics, using a variety of instructional methods and resources. Facilitate hands-on learning activities and project-based assignments to reinforce the theoretical concepts taught in the classroom. Assess students' progress and provide regular feedback to help them improve their understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Maintain detailed records of student performance, attendance, and any disciplinary issues. Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a cohesive and integrated curriculum. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, research, and best practices. Contribute to the overall development and enrichment of the school community, including participating in extracurricular activities.
Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or a related field with 2 - 3 years of experience teaching Commerce or a related subject at the secondary level. Teaching certification. Demonstrated success in creating and implementing effective lesson plans and assessments.
In-depth knowledge of the core areas of Commerce. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and convey information effectively. Strong organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Creativity and problem-solving skills to develop innovative lesson plans and activities. Patience and adaptability to cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
Passion for teaching and a genuine interest in helping students develop a deeper understanding of the world around them. Maintain a safe and organized learning environment in the classroom. Willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in Commerce education. Strong collaboration and teamwork skills to work effectively with other faculty members. Commitment to the school's mission and values.
