About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Company Accountant to manage the company’s financial records, monitor transactions, prepare financial reports and ensure proper financial control.
The ideal candidate should have strong accounting skills and experience managing finances, preferably within the skincare, cosmetics, retail or FMCG industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate financial records, accounts and transaction entries.
Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports and cash flow reports.
Monitor income, expenses, cash flow and operating costs.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including supplier payments and customer collections.
Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Prepare and monitor budgets, financial forecasts and expenditure reports.
Track inventory costs, product purchases and sales transactions.
Monitor business profitability and provide financial insights to management.
Ensure timely preparation of tax records and compliance with applicable financial regulations.
RequirementsB.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years’ relevant accounting experience.
Experience in skincare, cosmetics, retail, or a product-based business is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, financial reporting, bank reconciliation and budgeting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage or similar tools.
Good analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy, integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
Must be willing to work on-site in Lekki, Lagos.
SalaryN300,000 Net Monthly.
