Job Title: Dispatch Manager - Logistics B2B
Location: Nigeria
Purpose
To oversee and manage dispatch operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. Coordinate logistics, optimize processes, and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards while improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
The Job
Supervise and coordinate daily dispatch operations to ensure on-time delivery.
Monitor vehicle movements and optimize routing for efficiency.
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
Manage dispatch personnel, providing training and performance evaluation.
Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and supply chain teams to streamline dispatch activities.
Analyze dispatch data and generate reports for performance improvement.
Resolve delivery issues, delays, and customer complaints promptly.
Maintain accurate records of dispatch transactions, vehicle logs, and fuel usage.
Implement cost-saving initiatives in dispatch operations.
Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of the fleet to minimize downtime.
RequirementsQualification:B.Sc. in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:Minimum of five (5) years of experience in logistics, dispatch, or supply chain operations preferably in the FMCG, transport industry or manufacturing sector.
Certification in Logistics, Transport Management or Supply Chain is a requirement.
Fleet Management or Transport Operations Certification is an added advantage
The Person Must:Possess strong leadership and team management skills.
Have excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Be proficient in logistics and dispatch management software.
Possess analytical skills for route optimization and cost control.
Have ability to handle pressure and resolve operational challenges.
