Job Title: Electric Technician / Facility Maintenance Assistant
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full‑time / Technical Support
Role Summary
Carry out electrical maintenance and facility management tasks to ensure hospital systems and infrastructure remain safe, reliable, and fully operational.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on lighting, sockets, distribution boards, and small equipment.
Handle installation and testing of electrical fixtures and minor plant.
Support emergency call‑outs and ensure safe isolation and tagging procedures.
Maintain accurate records of work done and parts used.
Follow hospital safety procedures and report hazards promptly.
Contribute to general facility management and maintenance duties across the hospital.
Qualifications & Skills
HND / OND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or SSE (Senior Secondary Education) with recognized technical apprenticeship or trade certificate.
Technical skills: wiring, fault diagnosis, basic motor and control knowledge, safe use of hand tools and test instruments.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in electrical maintenance with proven experience in facility management and maintenance. Healthcare setting experience is an advantage.
Other: Good communication, punctuality, and ability to work shifts when required.
