Job Title: Engineer, HEMM Maintenance

Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring heavy equipment is in safe operating condition through routine maintenance, planning, and scheduling required repairs.
Accountable for planning and executing day-to-day maintenance activities for heavy mobile mining machinery (excavators, loaders, dozers, rock breakers, dumpers, etc.) across various makes such as CAT, Komatsu, Doosan, Liebherr, Terex, and other models.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Plan preventive maintenance and lead the team of technicians.
Track successful preventive maintenance tasks and report them to management.
Lead an engine overhauling team of technicians and supervisors.
Execute independent overhauling of engines for excavators, loaders, dozers, rock breakers, and dumpers.
Diagnose engine operational faults and execute necessary rectifications.
Handle the overhauling and repair of approximately 100 engines.
Rebuild major engine components.
Remove, install, disassemble, and assemble engines.
Perform tests and make necessary adjustments to engine components.
Diagnose and correct causes of malfunctioning or complaints on engines and their components.
Prepare parts requirements and forecast spare parts needs for engine overhauling.
Facilitate knowledge transfer to technicians and supervisors.
RequirementsEducation & Experience:Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in maintenance planning, overhauling of engines (Komatsu, CAT, Doosan, Cummins, Scania, Detroit, Liebherr, etc.), and spare part planning for engine overhauling.
Expertise in SAP PM functionalities (master data creation, preventive maintenance strategy, functional location, task list, maintenance plan).
