Job Title: Engineering Manager
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate the Nigerian engineering team: allocate work, set priorities, and check the quality of output before it is issued. Lead the joint site assessment at the terminal and close out the site data the design depends on: tie-in point, plot, power supply interface, firewater, and fire and gas interfaces. Manage the civil/structural and technical safety subcontracts: scope, deliverables, schedule, and verification of invoices against progress. Act as the client’s routine point of contact in Nigeria, prepare each gate with the Project Manager, and report Nigerian content in line with NCDMB requirements. Prepare the technical content of regulatory submissions and support regulatory engagement, which is routed through the client. Recruit, coach and appraise the engineers, and prepare the team to carry the design into detailed engineering.
Role
Head the company’s engineering group in Nigeria. On the FEED, this position leads the Nigeria site and in-country work and coordinates every Nigerian engineering activity so that it supports the programme and gates run from the engineering hub in Canada.

Right to live and work in Nigeria, with an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate. Willingness to stay at a Niger Delta terminal for periods of up to 30 days when the work requires it.
