Job Title: English Teacher

Location: Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Teaching English Language and Literature: Instructing students in English language and literature, including grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking skills.
• Lesson Planning: Preparing lesson plans, delivering lectures, and assessing student progress.
• Classroom Management: Managing classroom behavior, creating a positive learning environment, and ensuring student engagement.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Assessing student performance, providing feedback, and evaluating the effectiveness of teaching methods.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Developing Curriculum: Participating in curriculum development, aligning teaching materials with educational standards.
• Encouraging Critical Thinking: Fostering critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills in students.
• Promoting Literacy: Encouraging a love of reading and writing, and promoting literacy skills among students.
• Supporting Diverse Learners: Adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners, including students with special needs.
