 Job Title: Factory Human Resources Officer

Location: Sagamu, Ogun

Employment Type: Full-time Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Factory HR Business Partner (HRBP) to provide strategic and operational HR support within our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will partner closely with the Factory Manager and departmental heads to drive workforce effectiveness, employee engagement, productivity, performance, discipline, and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

Partner with Factory Management on workforce planning, manpower requirements, and people-related business decisions. Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflicts. Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and employee exits. Drive performance management, employee engagement, and workforce productivity initiatives. Monitor attendance, absenteeism, overtime, leave, and workforce trends. Identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant interventions. Ensure effective implementation of HR policies, procedures, and statutory requirements. Provide accurate payroll inputs and support employee benefits administration. Prepare and analyze factory HR reports, workforce metrics, and HR KPIs. Provide HR insights and recommendations to Factory Management and Group HR.


Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Management, or a related field. Professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, is required. 5–7years' progressive HR experience, with significant experience in an HRBP or similar HR advisory role. Strong hands-on experience in a manufacturing/factory environment is required. Proven experience supporting production, warehouse, technical, supervisory, and blue-collar workforce. Good knowledge of employee relations, performance management, recruitment, workforce planning, and Nigerian labour practices. Strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder-management skills.


Preferred Industry Experience:

Experience in FMCG,pharmaceuticals, food processing, or other manufacturing industries will be highly preferred.
