Fitness and Wellness Educator

Job Description


We are looking for qualified and energetic Physical & Health Education (PHE) Teachers to join our academic team.
The teachers will help students stay active, healthy, and informed through physical education and health-related topics.


Responsibilities


Teach physical education and health topics to students
Plan and lead physical activities, exercises, games, and sports
Promote teamwork, discipline, and good sportsmanship
Teach students about healthy living, hygiene, and personal well-being
Organise inter-house sports, fitness tests, and health-related programs
Monitor student progress and participation
Maintain discipline and safety during all physical activities.


Requirements


A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical and Health Education or a related field
TRCN certification or proof of registration is an advantage
At least 3years of experience teaching PHE in a school setting
Experience planning sports events or managing school teams is an added advantage
Being a WAEC/NECO examiner is an added advantage.


Skills:


Good knowledge of sports, physical fitness, and health education
Ability to lead students in practical activities
Strong communication and class management skills
Energetic, patient, and able to motivate students
Good planning and teamwork skills.


Other Requirements:


Must be passionate about fitness, health, and student development
Must be available to resume at the start of the new academic term
Must be able to work with both male and female students
Must be ready to support the school’s values and policies.
