Job Summary
A fast-growing logistics company in Gbagada, Lagos, is seeking to recruit a dynamic, commercially driven, and results-oriented Growth Specialist to support its business expansion and revenue growth objectives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new clients, generating qualified business leads, developing strategic client relationships, and converting opportunities into sustainable revenue. The role will also focus on strengthening relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business, referrals, customer retention, and long-term commercial partnerships.
The ideal candidate must have a strong sales and business development orientation, excellent relationship management skills, and a proven ability to meet and exceed client acquisition and revenue targets.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Client Acquisition:Identify, prospect, and acquire new individual and corporate clients for the company's logistics and related services.
Develop and implement effective business development and growth strategies to increase the company's customer base and revenue.
Generate, qualify, and convert leads into profitable business opportunities.
Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline from prospecting through negotiation and deal closure.
Consistently achieve or exceed assigned monthly client acquisition and revenue targets.
Sales & Revenue Growth:
Identify opportunities to increase revenue from new and existing customers.
Present the company's logistics solutions to prospective clients and effectively communicate its value proposition.
Prepare professional business proposals, quotations, presentations, and other sales materials.
Negotiate commercial terms and follow through on opportunities to successful closure.
Track sales activities, conversion rates, revenue performance, and other agreed growth metrics.
Client Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with prospective and existing clients.
Conduct regular follow-ups with existing customers to encourage repeat transactions, referrals, upselling, and long-term partnerships.
Understand clients' logistics requirements and recommend appropriate solutions to address their business needs.
Work proactively to strengthen customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
Serve as a commercial relationship point between clients and relevant internal teams.
RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3–5 years' proven experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Growth, or a related commercial role.
Demonstrable track record of generating leads, acquiring customers, closing deals, and achieving revenue targets.
Previous experience within logistics, transportation, courier services, e-commerce, supply chain, or a related industry will be an added advantage.
Strong understanding of sales processes, prospecting, lead generation, negotiation, and relationship management.
What We Offer
Gross Monthly Salary: N250,000.
