Job Title: Head Teacher

Location: Ajah / Ibeju Lekki - Lagos

Responsibilities
Leadership Roles:

  • Strategic Leadership: Providing vision, direction, and leadership to the school community.
  • School Management: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school, including managing staff, resources, and facilities.
  • Curriculum Development: Developing and implementing curriculum policies and programs to ensure high-quality education.

Administrative Roles:

  • Staff Management: Recruiting, supervising, and evaluating teachers and support staff.
  • Budget Management: Managing the school budget, allocating resources, and ensuring financial sustainability.
  • Communication: Communicating with parents, staff, students, and the wider community.

Educational Roles:

  • Teaching and Learning: Promoting high-quality teaching and learning, and ensuring student achievement.
  • Student Welfare: Ensuring the well-being, safety, and support of students.
  • School Culture: Fostering a positive school culture, promoting values, and encouraging student development.

Community Roles:

  • Community Engagement: Building relationships with local community, businesses, and organizations.
  • Parent-Teacher Association: Working with the PTA to engage parents and guardians in school activities.
  • External Partnerships: Developing partnerships with external organizations to enhance student learning and opportunities.

Essential Skills:

  • Leadership and Management: Strong leadership and management skills to motivate and inspire staff and students.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and make informed decisions to drive school improvement.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and find solutions.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with at least 5 years experience.

Salary
N2,0000,000 - N2,500,000 Annually.
