Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HMO Officer to manage our relationships with Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), ensure seamless processing of enrollees' services, and support efficient healthcare administration.

Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate all HMO-related activities within the hospital.
Verify patients' HMO eligibility and authorization before treatment.
Liaise with HMOs regarding approvals, referrals, and patient care.
Prepare and submit accurate claims, invoices, and supporting documentation.
Follow up on outstanding claims and reconcile payments.
Resolve HMO-related enquiries and complaints promptly.
Maintain accurate records of HMO patients, claims, and approvals.
Ensure compliance with HMO policies, contractual agreements, and hospital procedures.
Work closely with clinical, billing, and finance teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
Generate periodic reports on HMO activities, claims, and collections.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in HMO operations or medical billing within a hospital or healthcare organization.
Good understanding of HMO processes, healthcare claims, and medical billing.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and hospital management systems.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
