Job Summary
We are seeking a neat, reliable, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation within a private household.
The ideal candidate should have experience with household cleaning, laundry, and general housekeeping duties, with the ability to maintain a clean, comfortable, and well-organised living environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesClean and maintain all areas of the house, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, and other designated spaces.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitise surfaces as required.
Handle laundry duties, including washing, ironing, folding, and arranging clothes appropriately.
Change bed linens, make beds, and maintain bedrooms and guest rooms.
Organise household items and ensure belongings are kept in their designated places.
Monitor cleaning supplies and notify the appropriate person when items need replenishing.
Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning products and equipment.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the household.
Assist with receiving and arranging household supplies when necessary.
Respect the privacy, property, and confidentiality of household members.
Carry out other reasonable housekeeping duties as assigned.
RequirementsMinimum of 2 years of experience as a Housekeeper in a private household, hotel, or similar environment.
Good knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry care, and household maintenance.
Ability to handle cleaning equipment and products safely.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
Must be trustworthy, discreet, respectful, and hardworking.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Previous experience working in a private household is an added advantage.
