Job Overview
The Infrastructure & Applications Support Officer is responsible for administering and supporting the Company's IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365 environment, enterprise applications, and cybersecurity solutions.
The role provides technical support, ensures system availability and security, and supports technology projects that improve business operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and support IT infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, routers, switches, and wireless networks.
Manage the Microsoft 365 environment (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID, and security).
Support enterprise applications, including the Company's insurance core application and Zoho solutions.
Administer Sophos Firewall, endpoint security, and cybersecurity controls.
Provide first- and second-level technical support to users.
Coordinate with vendors, maintain IT documentation, and support technology and digital transformation projects.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years' relevant IT experience, preferably in banking, insurance, fintech, or another regulated industry.
Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Sophos Firewall administration.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs), and enterprise application support.
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365, CCNA, CompTIA, Sophos, ITIL, or Azure
Fundamentals will be an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies:Strong analytical, communication, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver excellent user support.
