We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Insurance Broker
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Research, compare, and market various insurance products
Act as a point of contact for clients and handle renewal and policy changes
Proactively identify new lead opportunities and network within the community to grow the existing client’s base.
Ensure all documentation meets state regulations and requirements.
Manage various deals such as investments, real estate, or insurance within the finance and banking industries.
Act as a liaison between parties, create and maintain relationships, administer sales, and perform administrative tasks.
Must be familiar with the products and services that our company offers.
Excellent customer service, closing deals, and processing documentation after the sales process is complete.
Qualifications & Academic Requirements
A Bachelor's Degree qualification in accounting, economics, or marketing in insurance sales and brokerage
Must have a 5 - 8 years of experience in the same position and 2 years within a managerial position
A master's degree is an added advantage
Must be licensed and certified in insurance
The candidate must be experienced in marketing
Sound spoken and written communication in English and Yoruba
Strong influencing and negotiating skills
Time Management
Client management
Insurance Advisory
Technical Competence in the use of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and others
String numerical and analytical skills
Experience with managing corporates and high-net-worth individuals.
