Our client runs a large-scale, modern poultry farm with capacity to breed thousands of birds in their farm located at Elele near Portharcourt in Rivers State where they process live chickens.
Their vision is to rank amongst the leading chicken and egg suppliers and distributors in the whole of South-South and South East in the coming years.
Job DescriptionThe Internal Control/Audit Manager provides independent risk management, and operational oversight across the entire integrated and operational value chain.
The position works directly with the CEO and seeks to foster standardization and consistency across the company's business processes and internal controls.
ResponsibilitiesDeliver timely reporting on the internal audit/control framework and control deficiencies.
Initiate action plans,monitor progress to address and resolve control deficiencies.
Actively engage with internal and external auditors to ensure resolution of all relevantaudit finding.
Spot, assess and address risksand translate it into impact analysis.
Initiate and develop control policies.
Qualities:A critical thinker and highly organized.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Computer literate with ability to navigate the entire platforms of Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong understanding and experience with internal control frameworks.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Sound presentationskills.
Skill Set:Ability to work independently with little supervision.
Attention to details.
Leadership skills.
Qualifications and Requirements
B.Sc/HND in Accounting.
Minimum of 5 years practical experience in audit/internal control.
ICAN qualification is an added advantage.
