Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to oversee and optimize inventory operations across our warehousing and distribution network.
The ideal candidate will ensure accurate stock records, maintain optimal inventory levels, minimize losses, and implement effective inventory control processes to support efficient business operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement inventory control policies and procedures.
Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
Oversee stock receiving, storage, transfers, and dispatch processes.
Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, variances, and stock losses.
Reconcile physical inventory with system records and prepare variance reports.
Monitor inventory turnover and recommend strategies to improve stock movement.
Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless inventory management.
Generate and analyze inventory reports to support management decision-making.
Ensure proper documentation of inventory transactions and compliance with company policies.
Supervise and mentor inventory personnel to improve team performance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in inventory management within a warehousing, logistics, FMCG, manufacturing, or distribution company.
Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and warehouse operations.
Experience using ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
High attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure.
