Job Title: Inventory Oficer

Job Summary
The Inventory Officer will be responsible for managing stock levels, recording stock movements, conducting stock counts, monitoring expiry dates, and ensuring the efficient use and availability of inventory.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate records of raw materials, finished products, packaging materials, and store items.
Receive, inspect, record, and properly store incoming supplies.
Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment when necessary.
Record stock issued to production and retail operations.
Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile stock variances.
Monitor expiry dates and ensure proper FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices.
Identify damaged, expired, missing, or slow-moving stock and report to management.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
Monitor wastage and unusual stock consumption.
Maintain an organized and hygienic storage area.
Work with the Cost Accountant and management to improve stock control and reduce losses.
RequirementsPossess an OND / HND / B.Sc. in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, or a related field with 2 – 3 years of Inventory / Store Management experience.
Good knowledge of stock management procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or inventory management software.
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Ability to conduct accurate stock counts.
Experience in a bakery, confectionery, supermarket, restaurant, or FMCG environment is an advantage
SalaryN100,00 - N150,000 monthly.
