Job Summary
We are seeking two (2) enthusiastic, proactive, and driven Junior Full-Stack Software Developers to join our team on a strictly office-based basis in Ikosi-Ketu, Lagos.
This position is perfect for recent tech bootcamp graduates (e.g., AltSchool, Semicolon, Utiva) or self-taught junior programmers with 1 to 2 years of experience who want to gain real-world production experience.
You will work side-by-side with another junior developer to manage, maintain, and update our existing web platforms.
If you are looking to escape remote isolation, avoid gruelling island traffic, and fast-track your career by taking hands-on ownership of a live project, this is your opportunity.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform Maintenance & Bug Fixing:Perform routine daily performance and security checks across the company's web platforms to ensure constant uptime.
Quickly identify and resolve frontend bugs, broken layout structures, and mobile responsiveness errors.
Update plugins, clear out database logs, and optimise page loading speeds under management direction.
Building New Features & Updates:Write clean, stable code to implement routine business features, marketing tools, or dashboard adjustments.
Collaborate closely with your fellow team developers to brainstorm solutions, review code, and split programming tasks.
Thoroughly test all technical updates in a safe testing/staging environment before pushing updates live.
Repository & Assets Management:Mandatory Requirement: Use Git and GitHub daily to push all code modifications to the company's private repository before leaving the office at 5:00 PM.
Keep login credentials and technical file configurations securely documented so the company retains 100% data control.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Experience: 1year or more of building web applications. A strong personal project portfolio or GitHub history is highly valued.
Frontend Basics: Practical knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and any framework/template system (e.g., React, Vue, Tailwind, or template engines).
Backend & Databases: Understanding of a standard backend system (such as Node.js, PHP, or Python) and basic relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL).
Tools: Familiarity with Git and GitHub commands.
Mindset: A strong desire to learn, collaborate as a teammate, and take daily feedback.
SalaryN150,000 – N200,000 monthly.
