Job Title: Hatchery Supervisor

Location: Asaba, Delta
Work Structure: Onsite

About the Role

Our client is expanding its poultry operations and seeking a Hatchery Supervisor to support the Hatchery Manager in delivering excellent hatchery performance and high-quality day-old chicks.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily hatchery operations: egg setting, candling, transfer, hatching, and chick dispatch.
Operate and monitor automated incubators/hatchers, reporting issues.
Enforce hygiene and biosecurity standards.
Train and supervise hatchery staff.
Keep accurate hatchery records and monitor chick quality.
Assist with planning, reporting, and smooth chick deliveries.

Requirements

Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, Poultry Science, Veterinary Medicine, or related field.
3–5 years’ experience in a commercial hatchery.
Knowledge of automated incubation systems (e.g., Petersime, Jamesway, ChickMaster).
Strong grasp of hatchery hygiene and chick handling.
Supervisory experience is an advantage.

Salary
N180,000 – N200,000 / month.
