About the Role
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in aerial deployment of fiber optic cables and maintenance of overhead telecom lines.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and maintain aerial fiber optic and copper cables using climbing gear or bucket trucks.
Troubleshoot and repair overhead telecom lines.
Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSSE) standards while working at heights.
Keep accurate records of daily work activities and submit timely reports.
Collaborate with engineers, splicers, and project supervisors for seamless network delivery.
Maintain proper use of tools, equipment, and PPE.
RequirementsMinimum of 2 years’ experience in aerial fiber deployment or related fieldwork.
Skilled in using climbing gear (body belts, hooks) and working on poles.
Good understanding of safety protocols and electrical clearance.
Physically fit and able to work in challenging weather and terrain.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Technical diploma or trade certification in telecoms or a related field is an advantage.
SalaryN150,000 Monthly.
