Job Description
We seek a highly qualified and experienced Literature in English teacher to join our team.
The successful candidate will teach Literature in English to students at the secondary school level, develop and implement engaging lesson plans, and assess student progress.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Literature in English, excellent teaching skills, and must have the ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans that cover a diverse range of Literature in English topics, using a variety of instructional methods and resources.
Facilitate hands-on learning activities and project-based assignments to reinforce the theoretical concepts taught in the classroom.
Assess students' progress and provide regular feedback to help them improve their understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Maintain detailed records of student performance, attendance, and any disciplinary issues.
Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a cohesive and integrated curriculum.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, research, and best practices.
Contribute to the overall development and enrichment of the school community, including participating in extracurricular activities.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Literature in English or a related field.
Teaching certification.
2-3 years of experience teaching Business Studiesor a related subject at the secondary level.
Demonstrated success in creating and implementing effective lesson plans and assessments.
Other Requirements:Passion for teaching and a genuine interest in helping students develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.
Maintain a safe and organized learning environment in the classroom.
Willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in Literature in English.
