The ideal candidates will combine practical mechanical engineering expertise with hands-on knowledge of electromechanical systems, control devices, piping systems, and instruments. This role requires engineers who can design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical systems with integrated instrumentation and control components across various operational environments.
Design, install, and maintain mechanical systems with electromechanical and instrumentation components. Calibrate, test, and troubleshoot instrumentation devices, including sensors, transmitters, controllers, and actuators. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electromechanical equipment. Interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and instrumentation loop diagrams. Conduct system diagnostics, fault analysis, and root cause investigations on equipment failures. Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project planning, installation, and commissioning activities. Prepare and maintain accurate technical reports, maintenance logs, and equipment documentation.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (B.Eng. or B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems and instrumentation principles. Hands-on experience with instrumentation devices, control systems, and mechanical equipment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills. Must be a resident of Port Harcourt or willing to relocate immediately. Must have completed the mandatory NYSC program. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Fair knowledge of Valves, Motors, compressors, and Piping systems.
N400,000 – N1,200,000.00 Monthly. Application Closing Date
