Job Title: Mechanical Technician (Injection Moulding Machines)

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Technician with hands-on expertise in plastic injection moulding machines to join our maintenance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and ensuring the optimal performance of injection moulding machines and other production equipment.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection moulding machines.
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimize machine downtime.
Overhaul and service machine components including hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
Install, align, and commission new production equipment.
Replace worn or defective machine parts and ensure equipment operates efficiently.
Conduct routine inspections and recommend improvements to enhance machine reliability.
Work closely with the production team to resolve machine-related issues promptly.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and service reports.
Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and maintenance standards.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment efficiency and productivity.
RequirementsOND, HND, or Trade Test Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
3–5 years of practical experience maintaining plastic injection moulding machines in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, gearbox, bearing, and mechanical transmission systems.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
Excellent troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skills.
Ability to work independently and under pressure with minimal supervision.
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
The ideal candidate must possess strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and have practical experience working in a plastic manufacturing environment.
Added Advantage:Experience working with Haitian, Chen Hsong, Borche, or similar injection moulding machines.
Knowledge of plastic processing operations and production equipment.
Welding and fabrication skills will be an added advantage.
