Job Title: Mechanical Technician
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Type: Full-time
Job Summary
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment in Amadi Base facilities, including AGO fuel tank farm, fuel purifier and diesel generators.
Carry out facility inspections and basic repairs. Assist with passenger transfers. Supervise Fuel Attendants.
Job Details
Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of base mechanical equipment and services.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for all base mechanical equipment.
Complete required reporting related to inspections and maintenance activities (daily reports, final reports at the end of the works, handover reports).
Keep stock of spare parts / materials stock up to date.
Lead the operation and maintenance of bunkering, fuel purification and fuel tank activities.
Support passengers transfer operations ensuring zero incident.
RequirementsHigh School Diploma and OPITO Global 2 Training Certificate: Maintenance Practices (Mechanical)
5 years in mechanical maintenance role in marine or Oil & Gas Sector.
Experienced in operating and basic servicing of diesel generators.
Experience in bunkering and fuel purifier operation.
