Nursery / Pre-School Teacher

Position Overview


We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery/Pre-School Teacher to join our esteemed educational institution. The successful applicant will have extensive teaching experience at the nursery level and a proven track record of developing and implementing innovative, engaging lesson plans that foster academic excellence, stimulate intellectual curiosity, and instill a lifelong passion for learning in students.


Key Responsibilities

Instruction and Teaching


Design, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in required subjects
Employ a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and promote learning.
Tailor instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.


Evaluation and Assessment


Create and conduct assessments to measure student learning and progress.
Utilize assessment data to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.


Collaboration and Communication


Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians through email, phone calls, and parent-teacher conferences.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide initiatives and events.
Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in teaching and learning.


Classroom Management


Establish and maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
Implement effective classroom management strategies to minimize disruptions and maximize learning time.
Set clear expectations and routines for student behavior.


Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in Primary Education or related field
Valid teaching certification in Nursery/Pre-School Education
Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in the Nursery sector.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong classroom management and organizational abilities.
Capacity to work effectively with diverse students
Proficiency in technology, including learning management systems and educational software.
Montessori certification required
