Job Title: Pediatric Nurse

Responsibilities
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Nurse to provide specialized care to infants, children, and adolescents.
The job holder will be responsible for assessing, monitoring, and delivering high-quality nursing care while ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of young patients.
Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed.
Assist in diagnostic tests and procedures for pediatric patients.
Educate parents and caregivers on child health, nutrition, and disease prevention.
Provide emotional support to children and families during treatment.
Collaborate with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
Implement infection control and safety protocols in pediatric care.
RequirementsRegistered Nurse (RN) and Registered Pediatric Nurse(RPN) Certification from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience in pediatric nursing.
Must be registered with the National Association of Nurses and Midwifery of Nigeria and licensed to practice as a Pediatric Nurse.
Strong knowledge of child growth and development, immunization schedules, and pediatric emergencies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
