 Job Title: Planning & Reporting Engineer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Employment Type: Full-time Job Purpose

Following Contract award and FID, the WHP Planning & Reporting Engineer supports the Project Control Lead & Contract Engineer (and, as required, the WHP Package Manager) by developing, maintaining, and controlling the WHP integrated schedule and progress measurement system. The role is responsible for consolidating EPCC contractor schedules, monitoring progress against baseline, identifying critical path and schedule risks, and producing accurate planning forecasts. The position also ensures timely and reliable project reporting through weekly and monthly dashboards, KPIs, look-ahead schedules, and variance analyses, including schedule inputs to change, risk, and decision-making processes, to support disciplined execution through fabrication, installation, and start-up.


Responsibilities

To develop, implement and maintain procedures, means and tools to ensure the efficient organization and operation of the scheduling, progress control and reporting activities for all phases of the project. To define (and update as necessary) a suitable Work Breakdown Structure complying with Project needs in terms of progress control, cost control and reporting, for all phases of the Project To develop, update and revise the overall integrated Project Schedules as required by Project  Management, and to provide analyses and simulations of new schedules also as required To assist Packages to review and comment on contractors’ procedures linked to schedules and progress control methodology. To monitor contractors’ execution schedule, to check and approve contractors’ progress measurement and progress reports. To define, coordinate and supervise the development of detailed and accurate Project Monthly Report / Project Weekly Report (and any other report as requested) during all phases of Project To identify and monitor Project risks associated with potential cost and schedule impacts. To timely report to the Project Control Manager, highlighting progress and encountered areas of concern. To liase with HQ / PJC teams on Planning related innovations / tool implementation.


Accountabilities:

Organize his job in full respect and within the limit of defined and approved planning & budgets. Have good relationships with other Departments / Packages of the Division. Have good relationships with other TEPNG entities such as Strategy and Planning Division, Production Division, Drilling and Completion Division, Engineering, Project and Modifications Division. Ensure a transversal way of working, in a good team spirit. Reporting, Trend & Performance Monitoring- Prepare accurate weekly and monthly planning reports, dashboards, KPIs, S-curves, MoM, and look-ahead schedules, ensuring consistency, traceability, and compliance with project reporting standards. Issues Log & Claims Support- Maintain and update the project and contractual Issues Log, ensuring full traceability of issue evolution and impacts, and provide planning evidence to support claims, dispute resolution, and contractual positions. Change & Impact Analysis Support- Perform schedule impact assessments for changes, variations and risks, and support the Project Control Lead with quantitative inputs for recovery actions and mitigation measures.


Qualifications

Degree 5 to 10 years Experience in similar position 5 to 10 Experience within project and project Control and contract administration.
