We are looking for an exceptional, passionate, and results-driven Primary 5 Class Teacher with excellent Mathematics teaching skills to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction across the Primary 5 curriculum while providing outstanding Mathematics education that develops pupils' analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and confidence.

Teach all subjects in the Primary 5 curriculum, with a strong emphasis on Mathematics. Plan and deliver engaging, learner-centred lessons that promote academic excellence. Build pupils' competence in arithmetic, fractions, decimals, percentages, geometry, measurement, and problem-solving. Prepare pupils for internal and external examinations using effective teaching strategies. Assess pupils' learning through assignments, quizzes, tests, projects, and examinations. Identify pupils who require additional academic support and provide targeted interventions, particularly in Mathematics. Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages active participation. Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, teaching aids, and assessment records. Monitor and report pupils' academic progress and behaviour to parents and school management. Participate in staff meetings, school events, professional development programmes, and extracurricular activities. Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching quality and pupils' outcomes. Perform other duties assigned by the school management.

Minimum of B.Ed., NCE, or B.Sc. / B.A. with PGDE in Education or a related discipline. At least 3 years' teaching experience at the upper primary level is preferred. Demonstrated expertise in teaching Primary Mathematics with a proven ability to improve pupils' performance. Strong understanding of the Nigerian Primary School Curriculum.

Exceptional knowledge of Primary Mathematics and effective instructional strategies. Ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts using practical, engaging, and age-appropriate methods. Strong classroom management and pupil engagement skills. Excellent lesson planning, assessment, and record-keeping abilities. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using educational technology and digital learning tools. Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to inspire confidence, curiosity, and a love for Mathematics among pupils.
