SustyVibes (Sustainability Vibes) is a youth-led organisation making sustainability relatable, actionable, and cool for young people. Since 2016, we have led multiple advocacy and community-based projects aimed at fostering youth climate resilience. As we enter our next chapter, we are implementing the North Star project, a restructuring and growth process designed to strengthen our people, systems, and long-term impact while staying true to our values of care, creativity, and community. We currently have operations in Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and the United States. We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Programme Delivery Intern
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Work mode: Hybrid
Contract Type: Internship, 6 months
Reports to: Senior Programme Manager
Working Hours: 20 hours per week (flexibility required based on organisational needs) Role Summary
The Programme Delivery Intern supports the planning, coordination, and implementation of SustyVibes' programmes, campaigns, and grant-funded initiatives. The role provides hands-on support across programme delivery, stakeholder coordination, documentation, and monitoring activities to help ensure projects are implemented effectively and in alignment with organisational priorities. Working closely with the Projects & Partnerships Director, Senior Programme Manager, and programme teams, the intern will gain practical experience in programme management by supporting project planning, tracking implementation progress, coordinating logistics, and contributing to reporting and knowledge management. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, proactive, eager to learn, and passionate about youth development, sustainability, and delivering meaningful social impact within a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
What You’ll Do
Support the planning and implementation of SustyVibes programmes, campaigns, events, and special projects. Assist in developing work plans, activity schedules, implementation trackers, and project documentation. Coordinate meeting logistics, programme activities, workshops, and community engagements. Support programme teams in tracking activities and following up on project deliverables.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Documentation:
Assist in collecting and organising programme data, participant records, and supporting documentation. Support the preparation of activity reports, impact stories, presentations, and programme updates. Maintain organised programme files and contribute to organisational knowledge management. Help document project outcomes, lessons learned, and success stories.
Support communication with programme participants, volunteers, partners, and community stakeholders. Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing meeting materials, and documenting action points. Work with the Communications team to gather programme content, including stories, photographs, testimonials, and other impact materials. Represent SustyVibes professionally during programme activities where required.
Assist with programme logistics, procurement requests, and inventory coordination. Support basic budget tracking and maintain programme-related financial documentation. Provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth delivery of programme activities.
What We're Looking For
A recent graduate or final-year student in Development Studies, Project Management, Environmental Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Willingness to learn about programme management, stakeholder engagement, and nonprofit operations. Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office applications. Alignment with SustyVibes' mission, values, and youth-centred approach. Passion for youth mobilisation, community development, and sustainability.
