We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Representative

Location: Lagos

Position

  • As Sales Representative for Nigeria, you will be responsible for the specification and sales of Gerflor’s product ranges across key market sectors.
  • You will report directly to the West Africa Export Manager and collaborate with internal departments such as Customer Service, Marketing, Technical Assistance, and Credit.

Main Responsibilities

  • Achieve the sales budget for Nigeria.
  • Analyze the market: competition, potential, key players.
  • Recommend strategic actions based on market opportunities.
  • Manage and support existing distributors.
  • Identify and appoint new distributors.
  • Promote Gerflor products to specifiers: architects, designers, health authorities, builders, etc,
  • Sell to flooring contractors, general contractors, and end users.
  • Train distributor sales teams and conduct joint visits.
  • Implement the company’s pricing policy.
  • Organize “Lunch & Learn” sessions with specifiers.
  • Track key projects and update CRM tools.
  • Participate in trade shows and roadshows.
  • Provide market intelligence on competition, trends, and standards.
  • Organize factory visits for customers.
  • Handle customer complaints when needed.

Requirements

  • You have a Degree from a business school and at least 5 years experience in B2B sales and distributor management, particularly for a company in the finishing sector (floor or wall coverings, paint, sanitary equipments, etc.).
  • Experience in the flooring sector or with architects is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English, you are sales-driven, organized, and autonomous.
  • You enjoy building relationships and thrive in international environments. You are proactive, accountable, and comfortable with reporting and digital tools.
