Seasoned Hausa / Igbo / Yoruba Teacher

Position Overview


We are in search of a committed and skilled Educator specializing in Igbo/Yoruba/Hausa Language to join our educational team.
The chosen candidate will work with young students, delivering engaging and nurturing programs designed to enhance their speaking and writing abilities in the target language.


Responsibilities


Design, develop, and implement curriculum to achieve learning objectives
Ensure daily lesson plans are executed properly
Provide comprehensive instruction on all subject-related topics
Create and distribute detailed lesson notes to students
Regularly review students' notes to ensure they are up-to-date
Conduct in-class practice sessions
Ensure learning materials are available and guide students on their usage
Foster a positive learning environment to cultivate student interest
Prepare students for both internal and external examinations
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Faculty Head


Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics and Nigerian Languages (Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba Language); Master's Degree is a plus
Must hold a professional teaching qualification and be a registered TRCN member
Minimum of 5 years teaching experience
In-depth knowledge of the core subject and ability to effectively impart knowledge to students
Proficiency in quality and seamless training/teaching methodologies
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate with other staff members
Must be enthusiastic and passionate about teaching, with a strong commitment to school development initiatives
